could this makeup from COVERGIRL ruin my skin?
it is called CoverGirl Aqua Smooth foudation.
it has the ingredient titanium dioxide in it.
some girl said that if she used it it would make her break out because it had this ingredient! please help me! if it will affect my skin i need to know because i have been using it for months now! i has sunscreen spf 15 in it

She probably had an allergic reaction to it or has sensitive skin. As for you, if you've already used it for months and haven't seen a negative affect on your skin, I'd assume that it'd be okay to continue using the product. If you really want to be safe, you could always contact a dermatologist and ask about it.
"Titanium dioxide is listed as a safe pigment, with no known adverse effects. It is not listed as a carcinogen, mutagen, teratogen, comedogen, toxin or as a trigger for contact dermatitis in any other safety regulatory publications beside the NIOSH (Antczak, 2001; Physical & Theoretical Chemical Laboratory, Oxford University respectively). It is reasonable to conclude then, that titanium dioxide is not a cancer-causing substance and is generally safe for use in foods, drugs, paints and cosmetics."
