Whats the Best drugstore foundation and concealerthat will clear acne and is non comedogenic?
I'm looking for a good Liquid Foundation and a concealer that:
is non-comedogenic
helps clear acne
provides coverage( blends well and doesn't look flaky)
inexpensive
Ive tried Neutrogena Skin clearing Oil Free makeup and didn't like it because it looked flakey and cakey and was too light. thanks!
I suggest you not rely on makeup to clear up acne. Use other products underneath your makeup to fight acne like a good toner. Anything I've tried with acne fighting salicylic acid doesn't blend well because it's way too matte. Instead, try blendable liquid foundations and concealers that are oil-free and non-comedogenic like the Neutrogena Healthy Skin line or the Maybelline Superstay 24 HR line.
The latter is my new favorite foundation and concealer. The finish is semi-matte, however, so I do carry around mattifying Pressed Powder or oil blotting sheets. The foundation has buildable coverage from light to full, but the concealer has a little more coverage for problem spots. You might have to layer on the foundation and concealer for Extra Coverage, but it is so worth it because this makeup provides such a beautiful, natural look that some people don't believe me when I say I'm wearing cover up. And, they think I have clear skin when I actually have moderate to severe acne and a whole lot of scarring.
