What is the difference between BB cream and foundation/concealer?
Hi all, I am just a little confused here. Is BB cream the same as foundation/concealer？ Do I still need to apply foundation/concealer after I put on my BB cream?
Normal procedure for makeup as I understand is: cleanser>face lotion>concealer>foundation>makeup
So if I were to use BB cream what is the procedure?

BB cream is supposed to be a makeup base+sunscreen (most have spf but some don't)+concealor+foundation.
depending on different types, some provide heavier coverage while some gives very very light/barely there coverage. however, even those with the heaviest coverage can't compare to the coverage a foundation gives you because bb creams are meant to be light and give you a natural finish.
if you need more coverage, you may apply concealor over the spots or powder foundation over your face to both set the bb cream and also provide the extra coverage.
for me, i'll choose to dab on concealors on my spots and then set everything with a translucent pressed powder.
the procedure for a bb cream should be: cleanser > toner! > face lotion > bb cream > concealor > powder. and that is, if your bb cream has spf. if not, suncreen before bb cream.
