I need a cheap mineral makeup for oily/combo skin?
I have oily/combination skin and makeup has been the cause of this. I need to switch to a mineral/powder makeup that will help heal my skin, rather than damage it. I want to eventually completely stop wearing makeup because it's getting pretty frusterating. I had really nice skin before. Oh well. Any advice?
I am a professional makeup artist and skin care specialist. I deal with all skin types and all ethnicities. DO NOT buy drug store brands. I have years of research under my belt on chemicals and there effects and drugstore brands are loaded with these harmful chemicals that WILL aggravate your skin causing ACNE, DERMATITIS and years later possibly cancer. Loreal, Maybelline etc, all use CHEAP fillers, so they can make their product cheap. They also lie when they say non comedogenic because often these products do irritate the skin and cause breakouts. As for bare escentuals their products are just ok. They look nice but can really aggravate skin as they use a cheaper mineral called Bismuth oxychloride that causes the skin to become irritated and itchy. There are many many complaints from people about bismuth oxychloride (you can google bare escentuals bismuth oxychloride itch) there product also uses harmful preservatives in their mineral veil and other formulas which can also aggravate the skin. I have found a higher end company (whose prices beat bare escentuals and even some drugstores) called faerie organic.
