How long does powder usually last?
(I use lancome's photogenic Loose Powder)- I'm doing a study abroad program in a small city in france for 6 months- should I buy a few extra just in case they don't sell it there or does makeup turn bad? How long does it usually last?
But I mean if I buy some extra cases, and don't open them (they wouldn't be exposed) for when my 1st product runs out....?

It will definitely last you the 6 months, and if you buy extras and don't open them (or expose them to bacteria) then they should last a year I'd say. Think about how long makeup has to last in stores, from being manufactured to shipping and then sitting around waiting to be sold! I think it's mostly the exposure to germs that makes it go bad. I think you're pretty safe with powder. And if you do run out, you can just order it online and have it shipped to you. =)
