Will rectified spirit damage my windshield?
A friend of mine sprayed my windshield with rectified spirit liquid to unfreeze it. Will this damage the protective layers of the windshield?

no, if u can see out of it you are fine. the parts of the indshield that keep it from shattering in a crash are layered inside the glass.
