What percent of the suggested retail value should i pay for a car with a rebuilt title?
I think i can trust the condition because it is my moms car so i think I'm pretty safe. I don't know if its salvaged or rebuilt but either way i think its safe from my mom. Any answers?
A rebuilt title means that the car was previously declared SALVAGE. Then it was rebuilt - probably by a body shop - and re-titled. In order to get the car branded 'rebuilt' it has to pass a DMV inspection. Typically, cars that have a 'branded' title (salvage, rebuilt, theft-loss, flood, etc) are worth half the regular selling price.
