How can I show "Moonlighting"?
for my music class, we have a small project on the composers of the time romantic. I chose to Claude Debussy: D love it! his music is so beautiful ... then for part of my project im putting a music box that plays Clair de Moon behind the top of a box [cooler than it sounds:)] and im wondering wat I should put on the front. im made a moon ... but idk how I should go abt it. I think I want to put it on the water and thought to tape roses [pretty], but it takes some time ... just give me some suggestions to make it look magical! nothing too difficult Ty pls!
Since this is not an art project, you can easily take pictures from magazines and paste elements on the box. Cover the box or paint it black. Cut out a copy or printing a large moon. Paste it on box (high enough that you can put water below). Use a glue stick and draw a few lines of glue (as is oozing from the moon) applying silver / blue light. Now your crying moon spins of stars. Get some silver ribbon or use the new glue stick, draw waves in the moonlight. The first row (closest to the moon) should be the longest, so they become shorter and shorter, until they disappear, does not matter if it is not perfectly uniform, but the waves should form something like a triangle pointing down (dark reflections on water). Get a few feathers. Dab the rounded side with craft glue, apply to the scene, places too uniformly, and be sure not to use too many. 3-4 should be a lot. Make them 'float' from one corner of the box to the other diagonal of the scene. Feathers blowing in the wind. Cut out some cash card if you wish, add 1-2 of these big stars, and then draw the rest of the dots of money, do not pull too many. Stars Yay! If you can not be disturbed, cut a small boat image (see if you can find a Lord of the Rings image white boat and make the right size by editing before printing or photocopying is smaller). Paste of a wave (not the top or the bottom ones). Or you can stick to one side a little and drawing another wave below its bottom overlap a little. If you want be really fancy, cut waveforms on the bottom of the first boat. Boat on the dark water. You can draw some simple birds (one wing on each side, just two lines) flying to the moon. Draw small so it looks simple, but as they go off so it is difficult to see them. Music nightclub, dark sparkles. Add a gauzy curtain fabric or black lace, if you want. Maybe if you want to buy a rose or make one, make long rods and put it on the box while playing your music. Do not stick it on, that will just make it look tacky.
