will going to bed earlier help you not need as much hours of sleep to be well rested?
i always need atleast ten hours of sleep to have a good nights rest. I however go to bed really late such as around 2-3am. will going to bed earlier like around 9-10pm reduce the amount of hours I need to have a good nights rest?
The hours before 10pm are the MOST beneficial, at least according to my Mom, but now I'm beginning to believe her. I've noticed that I dream more when I go to bed around 8 or 9pm. Your body absorbs it better too. And don't fall asleep with the TV on ... you know you like to do that. But it keeps you from getting a deep sleep. And meditate before you go to sleep and tell yourself over and over that you are getting 10 hours of sleep whether you get 6 or 8 hours. Your body will make up for the hours lost.
As you get older you'll need less and less sleep until 8 hours is more than enough.
